I have quite a few friends with the name Michele and they all spell it with one L. They are Italian Americans so that is the way it's spelling in Italy. But I totally understand. I was called Vicky when I was younger and many people spelled it so many ways. Old friends still spell it wrong. I know a Michele that spells it Michaele, which is so confusing. Parents want to get creative but it add for lots of confusion when you are young.
