I think sometimes what happens is that women think it’s just friendship and the men want more. Probably asking about your boyfriend and you answering with that message made him realize that he didn’t have a chance with you. And then they just don’t know how to end it so they ghost you. Most men don't want to be just friends. A few months ago I found that out when an old friend (male) came into my life then a week later professed his love 🙄
